My latest projects were two separate 18x24 pencil portraits of beautiful sisters. These were commissioned in early-October and completed at the beginning of the month. I worked with my customer to find just the right pictures so that he would have a great pair of keepsakes of his daughters at this wonderful age. We discussed many potential photos, including shots of the girls together and eventually settled on two well composed candid photographs. Once we settled on the photos, I cropped and resized the images so that they were more similar in composition so that the final artwork would be a nice set.
I loved working on these portraits and took them everywhere with me for several weeks so that I could draw whenever I had a few minutes.
